Introduction

Just founded, The Piedmont Railroad Museum & Library, Inc. is dedicated to preserving the rich railroad history of the Central and Coastal Piedmont Region of the State of North Carolina. The Museum and Library will be a new destination to meet and enjoy the extensive history of the over 200 railroads which served the Piedmont area.

Membership & Donation Information

The Museum is actively seeking members and donors. Help us preserve the Piedmont Region's railroad history by becoming a member of the Piedmont Railroad Museum & Library family.

  • $40.00 basic membership

  • $60.00 Family Membership

See the following information for donations to the Piedmont Railroad Museum & Library, plus a web site special:

  • Coach Car Level — For a donation of $100.00 receive a custom PRM&L Coffee Mug.

  • Diner Car Level — For a donation of $250.00 received a custom embroidered PRM&L Polo Shirt plus a PRM&L Coffee Mug

  • Observation Car Level — For a donation of $500.00 receive an engraved brick to be placed in our Station Plaza, plus the polo shirt and coffee mug.

  • Executive Car Level — For a donation of $1,000.00 an engraved name plate will be placed in the Museum lobby.

  • For the first person to donate $2,500.00 or more to the Piedmont Railroad Museum & Library receive a modular model railroad cabinet (Mod-U-Cab) valued at $3,500.00. Click here for more information and pictures of the Mod-U-Rail cabinet..
