Our Store

Cary Towne Center


The Piedmont Model Railroad Park store is located in Cary Towne Center in the east hall near the former main entrance to Sears, and where the Carousel was located.

Store Hours

Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday: 12 noon - 5:00pm

Wednesday: 5:00pm - 9:00pm

Closed Sunday and Monday

Our store features operating N, HO and O scale layouts, a Live Steam rolling stock display and scale rail dioramas. Click here to go to photos of our layouts and the progress being made on them.

We are teaching weekly hands-on modeling clinics and lots more.


Clinics Schedule

All clinics held Wednesday evenings from 6:00pm to 9:00pm
at thePiedmont Model Railroad Park store.




Bring your own project. If you have a project you want to work on, but not sure how to proceed, feel free to bring in the project and work on it in the store.

If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at (919) 931-0946.

In the meantime, we will be working on several shelf switching layout projects on Wednesday nights in lieu of any specific clinic topics. Drop by!! You can take part in its construction.
